Why real?

Carbon Neutral

We're proud to say that all orders placed on our wesbite are carbon neutral (as of 31st August 2023). We donate to charities such as Grassroots Carbon and Mast Reforestation 🌲

Each Pineapple Island staff member has sustainability training to help improve our carbon footprint as a brand and as individuals.

We also have a a 'cycle or walk to work' scheme, to encourage staff to reduce their carbon footprint by eliminating their car/public transport commute.

Packaging

We have swapped all plastic jewellery packaging to ECOPLAS, a cassava-based biodegradable material. We use recycled or biodegradable packaging for our orders. Our product tags are also made from recyclable materials.

We have also launched a reuseable gift bag collection to lower waste during the gifting seasons.

For our wholesale orders we recycle our cardboard boxes wherever we can to reduce waste. This might mean your Pineapple Island parcels arrive in a box with a few odd labels or markings - but we can assure you that the products inside will be of our usual high standard.

Materials

One of the most annoying things that happen during the camping is the faint sound of the mosquito or fly. None of us want their interference during the night when we want to sleep stress-free. So, what should we do then?

Offer Privacy

When we are camping in a group or with a family, the most desirable thing we need is our privacy. In a tent, you can get privacy from your kids so that they don’t disturb you when you are relaxing or listening to music.
